Project Objectives

Cypress Valley began as a family business to lightly share this beautiful slice of the Texas Hill Country and give people a wonderful experience in nature. The re-envisioned site will create a business that is sustainable and will fund land and water stewardship for future generations. The farm will bring people in direct connection with the land use practices and the Artisan Village will make a market for local artisans as well as be a venue for a variety of workshops and educational opportunities.

Design Approach

• Create a feeling of seclusion in nature while being close to amenities
• Cluster development to leave significant acreage for conservation
• Protect the natural resources, especially the spring-fed creek
